ABOUT KATIE
Katie Gibbons is an American actor, writer, & filmmaker of Celtic, Scandinavian, & Mediterranean ancestry. In 2024 you'll see her starring in Bampire, a wildly ambitious horror-comedy feature film shot in Oregon (slated for an October release), as well as the heart-warming independent short film Life After You, & Katie's own comedy short film Javaboyz, which she wrote, directed, & produced.
Previously, Katie starred in the hit supernatural web movie Worse Than a Skinwalker (2023), episode one of Live At Five; a televised live sketch comedy show in Washington state, as well as award-winning short films Blind Duet (2022), which she co-wrote & produced, & Living Creatures (2022). Katie has also received critical praise for her work as an actor in the action/thriller TV-movie, The Fuse (2021).
Katie can be seen in spots from national brands like Ford Motor Company, Good Culture, Microsoft, KitchenAid, Kroger, & more.

Prior to her acting career Katie taught English as a Second Language in Honduras, then competed professionally in rowing at the National High Performance Olympic Development Center in Oklahoma City.
Katie graduated with distinction & high honors from the University of Denver with a B.A. in biological anthropology & minors in international business & Spanish linguistics.
When not performing, Katie enjoys pitching in at the Gibbons family biz (Seattle Shellfish, LLC), wrangling cattle, going for nature walks, coaching youth sports, gardening, writing, painting, sculpting, & other artistic &/or athletic endeavors.
